 Strike Team Busts - Strike Team Videos  -
 The El Paso County Sheriff's Office STRIKE TEAM was designed to be a direct response to patterns of unlawful activity, with the intent to  reduce crime County wide.- The Team works both in plain-clothes and in uniform. The unit's primary function is to identify crime trends and implement a plan to investigate, deter and cease the targeted criminal activity. The unit will conduct sting operations, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and will take a proactive enforcement of the State laws. The Team will work with community members, other law enforcement agencies and non governmental organizations to combat crime and make our community safer.
- Due to operational security the number of Deputies assigned to the unit and the hours of operation will not be revealed.
- HISTORY: In February 2009, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office assembled & launched a High Intensity Specialized Unit
 focused on reducing crime in targeted areas in our community.
 The STRIKE TEAM consists of Sheriff Deputies from the Patrol Division & other various sections within the Office. The selection process consisted of experienced Deputies who had notable work achievements, certifications & had to go through an interview process for consideration. - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office STRIKE TEAM recognizes that assistancefrom the public is the key element in apprehending fugitives, clearing unsolved cases & reporting criminal activity. The STRIKE TEAM is asking help from the community in reporting any suspicion of criminal or narcotic activity. Working together, the Community & Law Enforcement will help prevent or hinder criminal activity in our neighborhoods.
- If anyone suspects or knows of ongoing criminal or narcotic activity in your neighborhoods, the Sheriff's Office is urging you to contact the STRIKE TEAM.
