After this will be the Veterans Day Parade & Celebration on 11-12-11 (Saturday). The event starts with a parade from the cemetery to the Plazita. There will be speakers, soldiers honored and food for all. There will all types of entertainment for all to enjoy.

- Memorial Walk Project
The San Elizario Veterans Memorial Walk was designed for those who have served, or are currently serving, in all branches of the United States Armed Forces. This Memorial separates the warrior from the war, focuses on the valor and sacrifices of these patriots, and gives each of them a place in history.
The project is open to ALL Veterans and not limited to local Veterans. Patriotic messages are also welcome. Businesses, organizations and schools, are encouraged to contribute a brick(s).
The project is administered by the San Elizario Veterans Committee of the San Elizario Genealogy & Historical Society, a 501c, non-profit organization. All proceeds go to the San Elizario Veterans Committee.
