INJURED MAN RESCUED AT HUECO TANKS STATE PARK

EL PASO TEXAS- On 08-14-2012 at approximately 2:10 PM Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Hueco Tanks State Park, El Paso County Texas, in reference to an injured party. Upon arrival, it was discovered a male VICTIM was on a steep mountain and had suffered a possible broken leg while mountain climbing. The VICTIM’s location and sustained injury during the climb, summoned the EPCSO/Search & Rescue Team to his location where Search & Rescue members extracted the VICTIM bringing him down safely. The VICTIM was identified as 34 year old Fernando Bustamante who was transported to a local area hospital.
