MANHUNT MONDAY CAPTURE #128-EFRAIN VENEGAS

NEWS RELEASE

EL PASO COUNTY TEXAS- On 08-01-2012, FUGITIVE/Efrain Venegas, 23, of El Paso, TX, was arrested by the United States Marshal Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF). Venegas was featured on Manhunt Monday on July 30, 2012 as a fugitive on the run with (6) warrants out for his arrest, the most serious being Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. On 08-01-12, Venegas was located and taken into custody at the 1200 block of E. San Antonio in El Paso, TX, yesterday morning. During the arrest Venegas assaulted a Deputy U.S. Marshal who sustained minor injuries to his face. Venegas is currently being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond.

CHARGES:

Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Wpn ; Harrassment; (2) Criminal Mischief o/50-u/500; Terroristic Threat; Parole Violation
