Just before 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 16^th, 2012, officers from the Police Department’s Northeast Regional Command were called to the 11000 block of Rockdale in reference to an aggravated assault that had just occurred. When they arrived, a witness told them that the victim had asked for help and then walked into a garage and closed the door. When officers entered the home they found the victim face down with stab wounds. He was rushed to a hospital but died a short time later.

The victim was 30-year-old .Lucostal Leon Holley. Investigators from the Crimes Against Persons unit determined that the victim was seen talking to two men in front of a nearby home. All three were later seen near the home where the victim was found, with the two suspects holding the victim against a fence. They are described only as heavyset black men.
