At 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 28th, 2012, the victim parked in the lot at a strip center at 7500 N. Mesa and went into a business. While there, someone entered her 2006 Maroon Ford F-150 pickup and took her purse which contained important documents and credit and debit cards. The victim later discovered that her debit card had been used at a nearby gasoline station and that other cards had been used at several stores in the Outlet Mall.

As seen on surveillance video at a mall store, the suspect appears to be a white or Hispanic man, about 30 years of age, medium height and build, wearing a Panama type hat, black sunglasses, a grey hoodie, dark pants, and a black backpack. It is unknown what vehicle he may have had.
