El Paso Texas- On 06/02/12 Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of Chaucer St. in the Sparks Addition of Horizon City, TX. Information was received of an assault that had occurred at that location which resulted in two persons being taken to a local area hospital with serious bodily injuries. Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Persons (CAP)Detectives were requested due to the life threatening injuries of the two victims. Through the course of the investigation it was learned that members of a local street gang (T.N.S.) were responsible for the assaults. On 06/06/2012 Sheriff’s Detectives obtained a total of six felony Arrest warrants for three of the gang members.
Ruben Christopher Ramirez aka: (Resio) was charged with two counts of ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ( AGGRAVATED ASSAULT / SERIOUS BODILY INJURY) with a BOND of $75,000.00 each. Adam ESCOBEDO aka: (CHUGGS) was charged with two counts of ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ( AGGRAVATED ASSAULT / SERIOUS BODILY INJURY) with a BOND of $75,000.00 each. And Jorge Douglas aka: (G-Boy) was also charged with two counts of ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ( AGGRAVATED ASSAULT / SERIOUS BODILY INJURY) with a BOND of $75,000.00 each.
All three offenders are resident’s of the Horizon City, TX. area. One of the two victims remains in the hospital in critical condition. The investigation is still ongoing with the possibility of additional arrests.
