On Wednesday, 05-30-12, Sheriff’s Deputies from the Patrol Section working out of the EPCSO-Clint Station initiated a Stationary Vehicle Check Operation (SVC), during the morning hours, at the 1000 block of Celum in Clint,TX. The SVC- Operation was a joint effort between the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Section and the Criminal Warrant’s and Fugitive Apprehension’s Section. The Operation yielded a total of 26 citations issued.

ARRESTS- 1 / Traffic Warrants out of the Sheriff’s Office
The operating of a motor vehicle without motor vehicle insurance and without a driver’s license continues to be the two traffic offenses highly detected during stationary vehicle checks. The purpose of the stationary vehicle checks are to ensure that citizens within El Paso County, operating motor vehicles upon public roadways, are complying with applicable safety related Traffic Laws, license requirements, and financial responsibility requirements.
