CRIME STOPPERS CRIME OF THE WEEK 05-18-12: SHERIFF SEEKS INFORMATION ABOUT AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

Two suspects enter a store in far east El Paso and assault the clerk in the commission of an aggravated robbery, , making this the
Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Sunday, May 6th, 2012, just before midnight, the first suspect walked into the Phillips
66/Quick Silver store at 14421 Montana and pretended to be purchasing several items. He then stated he was going out to get more money from a friend. When suspect 1 re-entered the store, he was accompanied by suspect 2 who was looking in his wallet as suspect 1 went to the beverage cooler for beer. While the sale was being rung up on the register, the clerk was attacked from behind by suspect 1 as subject 2 stood over him with a knife.
- Suspect 1 is described as an Hispanic male in his early 20’s, 5’6”-5’9”, 150-175 lbs., with short hair and facial stubble, wearing a blue baseball cap, a black leather jacket with tequila Patron logo in front and back, and a Monster logo on the left sleeve. He also had a grey bandana around his neck, and faded blue jeans.
- Suspect 2 was also an Hispanic male in his early 20’s, about the same height and weight, with closely cropped hair, facial stubble, and wearing a burgundy thermo t-shirt and faded blue jeans.
