EL PASO COUNTY TEXAS-On 05-10-2012 at approximately 2:45 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 13500 block of Emerald Falls, El Paso County Texas, in reference to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival Deputies saw a Silver Toyota Land Rover had collided into a residence and had extensive front end damage with both airbags deployed.
According to the victim, the victim relayed some information that upset the Offender. Further investigation revealed an argument followed after the Offender found out the victim told someone the Offender was having a party at the residence. The victim who was sitting inside the vehicle, was approached by the Offender on the left side and punched by the Offender on the mouth knocking out his two front teeth. The victim was in his vehicle with the engine running and in gear when this occurred. The Victim, driver of the Land Rover, attempted to elude the Offender and neglected to see the vehicle was on drive when he accelerated. The victim then crashed into the residence.
The Offender left the scene prior to the Deputies arrival. Several attempts were made to have the Offender return to the scene. Several patrol units canvassed the area with negative results. Crime Scene Technicians were summoned to process the scene. Later that morning, Deputies were dispatched back to the residence and the Offender was arrested and charged with AGGRAVATED ASSAULT CAUSES SBI. The residence received major damage to a north east room. The victim was seen and treated on scene by Life Ambulance.
