EL PASO, TEXAS- The El Paso County Sheriff’s Strike Team conducted a Prostitution Sting Operation targeting persons soliciting for prostitution via internet. The operation initiated Wednesday March 21st thru Friday March 23, 2012 which resulted in the arrest of 9 individuals. Prostitution is a continuous problem in our community that leads to and many times is the source of other crimes such as assaults, robberies and illegal drug use. Strike Team members took a proactive approach to investigate, arrest and deter those involved in illegal activity during the three day operation.
