POLICE SEEK SUSPECT IN BURGLARY OF BUILDING
A business owner closes her store at the end of the week and discovers the next day that the business had been robbed, making this the
Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Saturday, December 10th, 2011, the owner of Homework Contemporary Fashions at
2603 N. Stanton closed the business at 7:00 P.M. The next day a neighboring store called to say the business’s front door was propped open. When the owner checked, she found the front door lock was broken, merchandise in the store was strewn around in disarray, and merchandise and cash from the register were missing. The losses were determined to be approximately $30,000.
Investigators from the El Paso Police Department found that surveillance cameras at a nearby business captured two suspects in the act of the burglary. One suspect is a woman with a thin build, approximately 5’02” inches tall, wearing jeans and a white hoodie with a dark design on the back. The other suspect is a man with a medium build, approximately 5’06” inches tall, wearing jeans and a dark colored hoodie.
