FBI SEEKS SUSPECT IN BANK ROBBERY
A woman walks into a bank in the Mission Valley and hands the teller a note demanding money, making this the
Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Friday, September 30th, 2011, at 10:00 A.M., the female suspect
entered First National Bank at 9343 Alameda and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect left the bank on foot and was seen heading west towards a Family Dollar store and then towards Pavo Real Park.
The suspect is a heavyset Hispanic woman in her 30’s, about 5’04”, with a light complexion, and dark shoulder length hair pulled into a ponytail. She was wearing red lipstick, dark sunglasses, grey oversized t-shirt, grey sweat pants, and white tennis shoes. She was carrying a grey cloth shoulder bag.
The case is being handled by the FBI.’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators believe that many people in this highly trafficked area of town should be able to offer tips as to the identity of the suspect, or the location she was headed to.
