SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEEKS SUSPECT IN BURGLARY OF BUILDING
A man enters a business on the far east side in the middle of the night and steals property without the owner’s permission, making this the,
Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
In the early morning hours on Monday, July 25th, 2011, approximately 1:30 A.M., a man
made entry into Imports and More Auto Salvage located at 13471 Montana Avenue in the Montana Vista area. The suspect entered through a hole in the metal ceiling which was next to where a new evaporative cooler had recently been installed.
Surveillance video shows that the man was talking to someone on his cell phone while he searched the business for items to steal. The only item he ended up taking was a new computer that the business owner had recently purchased.
The suspect is described as an Anglo or Hispanic man in his 20’s or 30’s, medium build, with medium length hair, long side burns, and a mustache. He is seen wearing a dress style hat and a white t-shirt with no lettering or logo on it.
